These Terms of Service govern your use of the TerraWatch platform and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. TerraWatch provides environmental intelligence, emissions tracking, and sustainability reporting tools. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes. TerraWatch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the preceding 12 months. These terms are governed by the laws of Colorado, USA.
TerraWatch is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect information necessary to provide our environmental intelligence services, including company emissions data, user account information, and usage analytics. We process data in accordance with GDPR and applicable privacy laws. Your emissions and ESG data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months. You may request data deletion by contacting dpo@terrawatch.us. For EU users, our legal basis for processing is contractual necessity and legitimate interest.
TerraWatch uses essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We use analytics cookies to understand platform usage and improve our services. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are necessary for the platform to function. Analytics cookies are optional and can be opted out of at any time. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
TerraWatch maintains SOC 2 Type II certification for security, availability, and confidentiality. Our emission factor database is verified against DEFRA, EPA, ecoinvent, and IPCC sources. Reports generated by TerraWatch are designed to meet the requirements of GRI, CSRD/ESRS, TCFD, CDP, and SASB frameworks. Our data lineage and audit trail features are designed to support third-party assurance engagements. We undergo annual security audits and penetration testing.
This Data Processing Agreement applies to all processing of personal data by TerraWatch on behalf of our customers. TerraWatch acts as a data processor for customer emissions and ESG data. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure data security. Sub-processors are engaged only with prior customer notification. Data transfers outside the EEA are conducted under Standard Contractual Clauses. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected customers within 72 hours.
